First and foremost – a happy, successful life and rich life resume. Seriously.
I have worked very hard, personally and professionally to find balance and happiness in this world and enjoy success every day. From this place in life, I reach out to help others.
My life resume includes:
- being adopted,
- finding my birth parents,
- being married and divorced,
- fatherhood,
- currently living with the love of my life,
- earning my PhD in English (1996),
- teaching college English courses to undergraduate and graduate students (1992 to 2005)
- beginning a career at UNC-Chapel Hill (1997)
- ending that career to become a stay at home father (2007)
- working since I was 14
- great loves and losses (responsible for quite a bit of poetry)
- adultery
- digging ditches and doing web design, waiting tables and teaching at a university
- seeing the birth of my daughter (01/2005)
- trying and failing and trying again
My study of the tarot began before (1989) the explosion of decks and books on the tarot. When I went to buy my first deck at Waldenbooks in Greensboro only two were available – the Rider Waite and the Mythic Tarot. I started my tarot work with the Mythic Tarot. My study of the tarot coincided with my academic work on my Masters and PhD in English at UNC-Greensboro. My professional tarot skill and practice have grown since 1990.
My study of astrology has been on and off all my life, since I first picked up a sun sign book in 1984. In 2007 I finally carved out the time to apply the same level of study to astrology that I had given my study of tarot and my work on my doctorate. My professional practice launches this year, 2008.
