Welcome to my page of recordings. Each link will take you to another page that explains the recording, contains a link to the audio file, and links to other files to support the recording. This section of the website begins with a look at 2010: The Year Ahead. Subsequent recordings will focus on topics of immediate and future interest in Astrology as they have an impact on the World, our nation, communities, and individuals (yes, you!). Recordings will be listed in reverse order, so the link to 2010: The Year Ahead will move down to the bottom as new recordings are added.
Value and the Open Source Model of Exchange
Open Source approaches to the exchange of information and goods (i.e., software programs) allows visitors to download programs for "free", but asks for a donation based on the value the user sees in the knowledge or use of the tool obtained. These recordings are not "free" for me to make; they take time ... not only to record but to do the hard work to learn the knowledge that allows me to offer you valuable information in a way that is useful to you.
For this reason, the recordings and subsequent supporting links and materials are free for download. After listening to the recording I ask that you sit with the question, "Was this valuable to me?" If so, I hope you will donate a sum that you feel reflects the value you got from listening to the recording and reviewing the materials. Or, if you cannot donate that sum, then the sum that you can (yes, Philip, that information is worth $300, but I can only afford to give you $30 ... but in my current financial situation, $30 feels like $300!). I will provide a value that reflects the energy and effort I put into the research and recording of the material as a reference. It may be that you can only donate a kind comment, and those are most welcome. But some form of energy exchange is always for our highest good :-).
