Astrology and Tarot are phenomenal tools that can help you wrestle with difficult situations, significant life changes, deeper inner self-knowledge, and your relationships with others and the world around you.
How Readings Work
Astrologers and Tarot Readers all have unique styles even if they share common studies and philosophies about the two practices. To get the most from your experience with either of the two tools, it helps to know how a practitioner approaches and uses each tool and what to expect from their style.
As an Astrologer I fall into the Evolutionary group. I see the birth chart as part of a long soul evolution in continual development. For this reason I often talk about past life development and current life goals. Your existence is part of an ongoing spiritually evolving process. With Tarot I am a narrative guide. The tarot cards, individually and in spreads (of two or more cards), provide a narrative that we hold up to the narrative of your life. In comparison of the two narratives, you can make critical judgments to help you make better, more effective decisions. Both tools are designed to help you make consciously good choices.
Stylistically, I am very direct, but careful of clients feelings. I have an Aries Sun and Scorpio Rising, so I tend to dive right in (Aries) and go deep (Scorpio). My Libra Moon provides me with compassionate sensitivity and fairness. So even though I will not mince words, I always try to be kind and thoughtful.
Astrology Readings
Astrology has many different ways you can get information from your birth. The birth chart is the foundation of all readings, but beyond the birth chart you have progressed charts, transit charts, synastry charts, and so on. To simplify the process when you call on me for service, I will cast a chart that contains the three most significant forms of information: birth, progressed, and transits. I will look at that chart to determine what are the most important influences affecting you at this moment, from the past, and into the future ... your HOT SPOTS. Tarot Readings
Tarot Readings are very much "in the moment" experiences. If you have questions about the future, Astrology is the better choice since life patterns are cyclical and combinations of energy can be timed. Tarot cards and tarot readings will help you analyze your present situations and think about them in creative and critical ways. Tarot can best answer the following questions about love:
- am I ready for love?
- what kind of relationship is best for me?
- what do I need to know about love?
If you have questions about work, the best tarot questions would be:
- am I doing the right work?
- what work should I be doing?
- how do I feel about my job?
